Canterbury Museum post earthquake

To add to Erin’s update on Canterbury repositories, there is no evidence of structural damage to Canterbury Museum or the Robert McDougall Gallery. Both buildings have been assessed and declared safe.
The Documentary Research Centre is now open with limited services. At this stage there appears to be little damage to the archival collections, however a full assessment will take time as Collections Services and Curators work through our Disaster Salvage Plan.

Update: There is now full access to collections in the Documentary Research Centre.
